Meet Your Counselors!

 Molly Diehl

Lead Camp Counselor

Hello! My name is Molly Diehl and this is my second time being a camp counselor for Garden to Tables Culinary Camp. I love bananas and peaches which I could eat for daaaayyyyssss! My favorite meal to cook is stuffed peppers or homemade pizzas! I will be attending graduate school in the fall for my Masters in Medical Dietetics. I love to run, eat local food, and play card games as often as I can get to. Thanks for coming to camp!!

Sarah Schuette

Camp Counselor

Hey there! I’m Sarah and after graduating this Spring with my BS in Nutrition and a minor in Theatre, I am thrilled to be a part of this summers’ Gardens To Tables camp. With my background in theatre, I love finding ways to combine the arts and nutrition education for people of all ages, but I’m definitely a kindred spirit so working with children has always been my favorite. Speaking of favorites, my favorite vegetable would have to be potatoes (there are so many ways to cook them!) and my favorite meal to cook would be a yummy stir fry with tofu and Thai peanut sauce. Lastly, a little fun fact about me is that I am madly in love with traveling, and as of this year, I’ve been to every continent!

Kate Halloran

Camp Counselor

Hi! My name is Kate Halloran and I’m very excited to be a member of the Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp team this summer! I’m originally from Iowa but have been at SLU for 4 years now studying Occupational Therapy. My favorite fruit is a raspberry and my favorite meal to cook is a veggie lasagna. A fun fact about me is that I’ve adopted two dogs, Ringo and Jordy, and they both love to act as lap dogs (regardless of their size).

Kayla Misera

Camp Counselor

Hello, I’m Kayla! I moved to Saint Louis from Pittsburgh, PA about a year ago for graduate school here at SLU. I am studying public health and nutrition. I’m excited to see all the excitement around food and gardening this summer with children. I currently grow some herbs in my backyard that I enjoy using in my cooking. My favorite fruit is a warm summer peach, nectarine, or plum (too good to pick one!), and one of my favorite meals to cook is a wild mushroom risotto. A fun fact about me is that I used to work in a fish market.

Hello! My name is Corinne, and I am a Nutrition and Dietetics graduate student. I love spending time outside, hanging with my family and friends, and eating! My favorite fruit is fresh pineapple and my favorite vegetable is green beans. It’s a little harder to nail down a favorite meal for me, I pretty much love all food, but I would have to say I am always in the mood for Asian noodles of any kind 🙂
