Lead Camp Counselor
Hi! My name is JoJo! I’m a Graduate Nutrition Student and Dietetic Intern here at SLU. I am from St. Louis, so it’s exciting to meet kids from around the area as one of your head counselors this summer! I am really excited to spread my joy of food and health to younger kids who share a similar passion. My passion for food started about 11 years ago when my entire family went gluten-free for health reasons. From then on, I became very experimental with the dishes I tried and learned to appreciate what food does for your entire body. My favorite meal is Jambalaya and my favorite fruit is apples!
Hello, I’m Kathleen Reilly and I’m super excited to be a part of the Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp for the second year! I’m a rising senior at SLU studying Nutrition and Dietetics, and I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago. My favorite vegetable is broccoli, and I love making buddha bowls for almost every meal. Lastly, a fun fact about me is that I’m an intern at Urban Harvest STL!
Hello! My name is Molly, I am a registered dietitian, originally from Pittsburgh, PA where I completed my coordinated program in nutrition & dietetics. I am currently a graduate student at SLU studying nutrition & physical performance. I have worked at various kids camps during previous summers, one of my favorites have been teaching kids about nutrition through cooking. I love to cook and always have been passionate about nutrition! My favorite cuisine to eat is Mediterranean and one of my favorite dishes to cook is stir-fry!
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca and I am a rising junior studying Nutrition and Dietetics on the culinary arts track here at SLU. This is my first year being a counselor at Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp so I am super excited to meet everyone and cook some delicious food! My favorite thing to cook is homemade pasta and one of my favorite summer snacks is grilled peaches. In my free time, I love kayaking, trying new restaurants, and going to plays around St. Louis.
Hi everyone! My name is Sarah and I am a Registered Dietitian from Pittsburgh, PA. I am currently getting my masters in Medical Nutrition Therapy at SLU. I have loved exploring St. Louis. This is my first year being a counselor at the Culinary Camp, so I am so excited to be apart of this and to meet everyone! I love being able to teach children about food and get them excited about cooking and healthy eating. I love trying new foods and getting familiar with other cuisines. When I’m not learning, talking, or eating food, I enjoy playing volleyball and singing/playing the piano.
Hey! My name is Jane and I am going into my last year of a five year Masters program for Occupational Therapy. I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago but moved to Texas at the start of high school. This is my first year doing the Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp but I have worked with children since I can remember and I have always loved cooking and being in the kitchen. As an Occupational Therapy student I think it is so important to teach kids about the different types of activities that lead up to the whole process of cooking and eating a meal. When I’m not working with kids I love running, talking with friends at coffee shops, and watching movies! I can’t wait to meet you all this summer!
Hi, my name is Monica! I am a rising senior at SLU and am a nutrition and dietetics major. This is my first year here at Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp and am very excited for what this summer holds. I love trying new and different foods, and I am always trying out new recipes. In my free time, I am busy being a dog mom and I love exploring St. Louis. My favorite food is any type of cookie!
Hi, my name is Claire and I’m a sophomore at John Burroughs school. I love being outdoors, cooking, hanging out with my friends, gardening, and reading. I have been a camp counselor at a different camp for the last three years and I am looking forward to being a counselor this summer, especially because I attended this camp when I was younger.
